  • Rob Harris

    Rob Harris, CEO and Founder

    Rob Harris started his career in the Social Services, yet always had an entrepreneurial bent. In 1983, while still the Business Manager for an agency providing services to the developmentally disabled, he purchased the contents of a container abandoned at the Port of Seattle and found a buyer. Thus begins the history of PMI as an import business. Under Rob's innovative and caring leadership, PMI has become a global force in the housewares industry and a respected enterprise industry-wide for its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.

    Rob is a member of the China Relations Council and World Affairs Council and chairs a variety of international trade committees. He is also on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of King County, the World Trade Center and Scan Design. Rob has a Bachelors degree in psychology and Masters of Science in business and education, both from Syracuse University.

  • Rob Harris

    Mike Bross, Executive Vice President

    Mike Bross directs corporate-wide sales management and results, and collaborates with the management team on strategic direction. He joined PMI in 1998 as Vice President of Marketing and led the development of its first brand, MiGo, as well as its shift away from private label business to a branded model. Mike was also closely involved with the company’s acquisition and integration of the Aladdin and Stanley brands.

    Mike has worked in consumer product sales, marketing and product development since the 1980s. Over the years, he has been involved with direct selling to nearly every major North American retailer in a wide variety of market channels including department stores, housewares, sporting goods, outdoor, travel, mass market, winter sports, coffee specialty and the web. He has also developed successful sales and marketing organizations in Europe and Asia.

    Earlier in his career, Mike worked for Trager, a manufacturer of casual travel gear, where he oversaw the complete and successful overhaul of the brand including product direction, marketing and sales strategy. At Sims Snowboards he was instrumental in revitalizing the brand worldwide as VP of Sales and Marketing. With JanSport Company in the early 1990s, Mike led the global sales effort that saw revenue increase over 300% during his 5 years at the helm, and saw the brand become the recognized leader in its category.

    Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California and a Masters in Communication Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • Rob Harris

    Brian Shea, Chief Financial Officer

    Brian Shea began working with PMI in 2002, where he is in charge of finance, tax, accounting, risk management, management information systems and human resources. Prior to joining PMI, Brian spent six years as the CFO of Medisystems Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of disposable medical devices.

    Brian has extensive international finance experience, serving as CFO during the formation of multiple manufacturing enterprises in China, Mexico, Thailand and Italy, as well as expertise in acquisitions and divestitures. Brian is a licensed CPA and holds a BBA degree in business with an emphasis in accounting and minor in mathematics from the University of San Diego. He is a member of the AICPA.

    Ken Mitchell, Vice President, Marketing & Product Development

    Ken Mitchell had nearly 30 years of experience in Marketing and Product Development prior to joining PMI in 2007. He spent eight years with the Huffy Corporation’s Gerry Baby Products division as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, then for three years was President of Troxel Cycling and Fitness, a leading supplier of bicycle and equestrian helmets. Following this, Ken was Senior Vice President, Lifestyle Products, for Fisher Price. Among his responsibilities during these three years was worldwide licensing.

    For the next six years, Ken was Executive Vice President, Dorel Juvenile Group. He then became a strategic marketing and product development consultant for Funosophy, which serves the toy industry. Ken was a two-term Board Member of the Juvenile Products Manufacturer Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University.

    Mary Stenroos, Vice President, Supply Chain Management

    Mary joined PMI in 2008 after 25 years of engineering, quality, operational and supply chain experience. Mary started her career in the automotive industry as a product designer at General Motors. After leaving GM and moving to an automotive Tier 1 supplier, Johnson Controls, she quickly made a career change into operations. Mary’s operational experience progressively increased with transitions from Bosch, to Herman Miller (office furniture) and then to Terex (construction equipment). By the time Mary left Terex to join PMI, she had established international operations in China, Hungary, and the UK. Mary holds dual BS degrees in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Kettering University.

  • Colleen Hunter-Gale

    Colleen Hunter-Gale, Vice President, Talent Development

    Colleen Hunter-Gale brings sixteen years of high-tech industry experience to her role as PMI’s first VP of Talent Development. Colleen ensures that we hire, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry by refining and strengthening PMI’s organizational design and development, recruiting, employee training, and our reward and recognition programs globally.

    Before joining PMI, Colleen engaged with key community influencers to build brand affinity for Microsoft and worked as a consultant to strategic hardware manufacturers and independent software vendors around the world. She’s also worked on Mobile Oil’s Organization Development and HR team as a Labor Relations Manager. Colleen holds a Masters degree in Labor & Industrial Relations (MLIR) and a Bachelor’s in Psychology, both from Michigan State University.
