At the heart of PMI’s success is our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
CSR has been an integral part of our business since we opened our doors in 1983 and is a reason
for our long-term success.
We approach CSR with the same entrepreneurial spirit that we bring to all of our work. For us,
CSR is challenging, exciting and rewarding, and we’re as innovative with our CSR projects as

Our 2010 Corporate Responsibility Report, companion GRI Index and Supplier Code of Conduct are

This report follows the Global Reporting Initiative’s 3.1 reporting tool, adhering to the operational
control GHG and resource accounting method. We have included both our owned and leased property:
our offices in Seattle (HQ), Shanghai, Manila, London, and Bentonville, and PMI Joinease, our joint
venture factory. We have also included two of our contracted partner factories. In future reports,
as we train our other partner factories on gathering metrics associated to our Key Performance Indicators,
the scope of our reports will contin¬ue to expand.
