Community
PMI has a longstanding tradition of supporting local, national and international non-profit corporations focusing on children, education and environment. We carefully assess opportunities by collecting information and considering the merit and impact of the organization and then take a company-wide vote.
Not only do we give resources, we also volunteer time. All of our employees, from the newest team member to the CEO, are personally involved with our philanthropic activities.
Here are a few of the organizations to which we’ve contributed time or resources:
Globally
Our global partner is the Ocean Conservancy. We take part in the annual Coastal Clean Up as well as donate specifically to the SEE Turtle project, a conservation tourism campaign that directly support efforts to protect sea turtles while increasing resources in communities to help residents thrive and value sea turtles in their environment.
North America
Asian Counseling and Referral Service, a nationally recognized non-profit organization offering a broad array of human services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County.
South King County Boys and Girls Club, a haven of learning, entertainment and companionship for boys and girls in South King County. The Boys & Girls Club offers children and youths a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and positive direction.
China
HOPE project for 23 students in Gansu province thru Shanghai Juvenile Develop Fund since 2003.
